Action
The active substances contained in the preparation show bactericidal activity against most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria that cause infections in the mouth and throat, as well as antifungal activity against fungi that cause thrush. Neo-angin has a pleasant taste and is well tolerated.
Amylmetacresol and Dichlorobenzyl alcohol:
The substances belong to the group of antiseptics. These agents are able to inhibit the growth of pathogenic germs such as viruses or bacteria. Antiseptics support the throat mucosa, preventing infections (angina, etc.).
Levomenthol:
The active substance levomenthol soothes a sore throat and eliminates swallowing problems.

Tip for diabetics :
1 sugar-free neo-angin lozenge sweetened with lycazine corresponds to 0.22 carbohydrate units.
Lycazine is metabolized by insulin.
