Altacet is in the form of a gel on the skin, which has an astringent and anti-swelling effect, which is why it is used in contusions and joint swelling, post-traumatic as well as after first-degree burns. The gel also contains menthol, which causes a cooling sensation.
Indications: in bruises, joint swelling and post-traumatic edemas as well as edema caused by burns.
Action: the preparation has astringent properties, reduces swelling, soothes inflammatory reactions and relieves pain.
Directions for use: adults and children over 3 years old: it should be used on clean, dry skin in sore places 3 to 4 times a day, at intervals of a few hours, preferably in the form of compresses.
Contraindications: if you are allergic to the active substance - aluminum acetate acetate or any of the other ingredients of this drug, orally, in the case of extensive wounds, damaged skin and skin spots with visible eczema, on infected skin, long-term, in children under the age of 3 years.
